How many Purcell locations are there?

Does every location offer the same services?

No. A commercial store, a commercial and consumer store, a consumer store, a retread plant and a distribution location each do different work. Every location page lists exactly which services and tire categories it handles.

Why does my city have more than one Purcell listing?

Seven cities have more than one: Wasilla, Phoenix, Denver, Boise, Idaho Falls, Paducah and Salt Lake City. Each has a city page explaining what each listing does and which number to call.

Retreading

What is retreading?

Putting a new tread on a sound tire casing so it can run again. It lowers the cost per mile of a commercial tire. See Purcell retreading.

Where does Purcell retread?

At seven retread plants. Many other locations collect casings and send them to a plant, so a fleet can retread through its local store.

Can any tire be retreaded?

Only a casing that passes inspection. Damage, age and how the tire was run all decide it, which is why casings are inspected before retreading.
