Purcell Tire & Service 90 Years

Serving fleets, farms, mines and driversSince 1936

Tires and Service for Work Trucks, Farms, Mines and Everyday Drivers

Purcell Tire & Service sells, services and retreads tires at 64 locations across 14 states. We keep commercial fleets rolling, farm and ranch equipment in the field, mining and industrial machines working, and everyday drivers safe on the road. Tell us what you run and we will point you at the nearest location that works on it.

  • Commercial and Fleet

Roadside assistance, scheduled service, heavy-duty truck and trailer alignment, retread programs, and tire tracking built around cost per mile. Our commercial locations work on single trucks and on fleets of hundreds.

  • Agricultural

Tractor, combine, sprayer, implement and track service for farms and ranches. Downtime in planting and harvest costs more than the tire does, which is why farm work is scheduled around the season.

  • Mining and Industrial

OTR tire service, industrial tires, and mining fleet programs for mines, quarries, plants and heavy construction. The focus is safety, uptime and cost per hour.

  • Car, SUV and Light Truck

Passenger and light truck tires, brake repair, alignment, oil changes, A/C and scheduled maintenance at our consumer and combination stores.

  • UTV and ATV

Tires for side-by-sides and quads that work on farms, ranches, job sites and trails. The tire that suits one of those is frequently wrong for the others, so we match it to the work.

  • Trailer

Trailer tires for everything from semi trailers to the utility trailer behind a pickup, with trailer alignment at many locations. They are the most neglected tires on any vehicle, because nobody is sitting on them when they start to go wrong.

Who we serve

Every kind of customer, one tire company

A truck down on the shoulder, a combine stopped mid-field, a haul truck on a bench, a family sedan due for tires, a side-by-side headed out to work, a trailer about to be loaded. These are different problems with different clocks, and each one is handled by people who do that work every day.

Purcell also runs dedicated distribution locations that supply dealers and commercial customers. Those are covered on the Purcell Distribution Services page.

Service

The right service, offered where the work is

Every Purcell location lists the services it actually performs, because a retread plant, a commercial truck center and a consumer store do different jobs.

  1. 0124-hour roadside assistance
  2. 02Fleet services
  3. 03Heavy-duty truck alignment
  4. 04Trailer alignment
  5. 05OTR services
  6. 06Mining fleet services
  7. 07Wheel refurbishing
  8. 08Brake repair
  9. 09Oil changes
  10. 10A/C service

Retreading runs through seven Purcell retread plants. Many more locations collect casings and send them to a plant, which means a fleet can run a retread program without hauling tires across the country.

Our story

Ninety years of tire work in 2026

Purcell Tire & Rubber Company was founded in 1936 and reaches 90 years in 2026. The company still runs from Potosi, Missouri, and has grown into commercial, agricultural, mining, retread, distribution and consumer tire service across 14 states.

Ninety years in this business means the hard jobs are familiar ones: the truck stranded at 2:00 AM, the tractor that has to be running by morning, the haul truck that cannot wait for a part from out of state.

Questions

Common questions about Purcell Tire & Service

Where is Purcell Tire & Service located?

Purcell Tire & Service has 64 locations across 14 states: Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Kentucky, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oregon, Utah and Washington. The corporate office is at 301 N. Hall Street, Potosi, MO 63664. Use the Purcell locations directory to find the nearest store.

Does Purcell work on commercial trucks and farm equipment, or just cars?

Both, though not at every location. Commercial locations handle trucks, trailers and fleet work. Commercial and consumer locations handle those plus car and light truck service. Agricultural and OTR work is done at the locations flagged for it. Each location page lists exactly what that store does.

Does Purcell offer 24-hour roadside assistance?

Yes, at the locations that list it. 24-hour roadside assistance covers commercial trucks and trailers, and the service page lists every location that provides it, state by state.

What is tire retreading, and does Purcell do it?

Retreading puts a new tread on a sound tire casing so it can run again, which lowers cost per mile for a fleet. Purcell operates seven retread plants. Many other locations take casings in and send them to a plant. See Purcell retreading for how the program works.

How do I get a quote for a fleet or a farm?

Call (573) 438-2131 or use the Purcell quote request form. Tell us the equipment, the location and the service you need, and the request goes to the Purcell location that handles that work.
