Purcell Tire & Service has 11 locations in Missouri, more than any other state. Purcell was founded here in 1936 and still runs from Potosi, and the state carries every kind of Purcell location except a truck tire center.
How Missouri is served
Eight of the eleven are commercial and consumer stores covering trucks, fleets and cars: De Soto, Fenton, Jackson, Joplin, Kansas City, Osage Beach, Springfield and Washington. Seven of those also perform state inspections, which Purcell offers in only two states.
Viburnum is a commercial store built around roadside assistance, fleet services, OTR services and retreading, with an address at a highway intersection rather than a street number.
Potosi is a retread plant, at 301 N. Hall St, which is also the company's corporate address. Mineral Point is the central distribution and fleet support center, the only location of its type in the company.
Springfield is the Missouri location offering both mobile service and mining fleet services.
