How New Mexico is served
One store, built for working equipment rather than for cars.
Albuquerque covers trucks and fleets with 24-hour roadside assistance, fleet services, heavy-duty truck alignment and trailer alignment. It covers off-highway equipment with OTR services and mining fleet services, making it one of 13 Purcell locations running mining programs. It also offers retreading through the Purcell program, tire and wheel balancing and wheel refurbishing.
What it does not do is general vehicle repair, and it carries seven of the nine tire categories: agricultural, commercial, industrial, OTR, tracks, trailer, and UTV and ATV. Passenger and light truck tires are not stocked here, which makes New Mexico the one state where Purcell carries neither.
For a car or a pickup, the nearest Purcell locations are in Arizona, Colorado and Utah.
What to have ready when you call
Albuquerque is set up for working equipment, and the first call goes faster with the right details:
- The size exactly as it reads on the sidewall, and the position if it is a truck tire.
- The machine or unit, by make and model.
- What it does: highway freight, haul road, yard, field.
- For a breakdown, the location of the unit, whether it is loaded, and a number that stays reachable.
- For a fleet or a site, how many units and who authorizes work.
Where the rest of the network sits
Albuquerque is the only Purcell location in New Mexico, so a few things are handled from neighboring states. Casings go to the retread plants in Phoenix or Denver. Tire stock is held at the distribution locations in Phoenix and Denver. For a vehicle needing brakes, engine work or an oil change, the nearest Purcell stores doing that work are in Arizona, Colorado and Utah.
