How offers work
Offers vary by location
Purcell runs 64 locations across 14 states, and they do not all carry the same tires. A commercial truck center, a consumer store and a distribution location stock different categories for different customers, which means a promotion on one tire line may apply at some stores and not at others.
The quickest way to know what applies to you is to call the store you plan to use. Every Purcell location page lists the phone number, the hours and the tire categories that store carries.
What to ask the store
- Whether the offer covers the size and the tire line you need.
- Whether it applies to your vehicle type: car, pickup, commercial truck, trailer, farm equipment or off-the-road machine.
- The dates the offer runs.
- Whether a manufacturer rebate is involved, and how it is claimed.
- What the installed price includes, such as tire mounting and balancing.
Rebates
Tire manufacturers run their own rebates from time to time, separate from anything a store offers. They usually have a purchase window and a claim process run by the manufacturer. Ask the store whether a rebate applies to the tires you are buying, and keep your invoice, since a claim normally needs it.
Purcell carries brands including Michelin, BFGoodrich, Goodyear, Continental, Bridgestone, Firestone, Uniroyal, Cooper, Titan, Starfire, Roadmaster, Yokohama, Maxam and Mastertrack. See tire brands at Purcell for each one.
Seasonal tire changes
Where a store sells passenger tires and light truck tires, a winter tire changeover is a natural time to ask what is current. Book it early in the season, before the first cold snap fills the schedule.
Fleets and equipment
Fleet, farm and mining tires
Pricing for a fleet, a farm or a mine is usually set by account rather than by a public promotion. If you run commercial truck tires, agricultural tires or OTR tires, ask about fleet services or request a quote for the units you run.
