How Montana is served
Two stores, covering two different jobs between them.
Billings is the broader of the two, with 16 services. It handles trucks and fleets with roadside assistance, fleet services, heavy-duty truck alignment, trailer alignment, OTR services, retreading and wheel refurbishing, and it is the Montana location for car and light truck work: brakes, alignment, oil changes, A/C, cooling system, engine repair, scheduled maintenance and suspension.
Belgrade, near Bozeman, is a commercial store with six services, built around trucks and off-highway equipment rather than general repair.
Montana is a long way across, and both stores carry every tire category, which matters more here than in states where the next Purcell location is an hour away. Neither offers mobile service, mining fleet services or state inspections.
What is not here, and where it is
Three things a Montana customer may need are handled elsewhere in the network:
- Retreading. Both stores collect casings, and the work is done at a Purcell plant. The nearest are Boise, Idaho and Salt Lake City, Utah.
- Mining fleet programs. No Montana location lists mining fleet services. Both stores offer OTR services, which covers fitting, change-outs and repairs on off-highway tires, and a site wanting a managed program should start there.
- Mobile service. Planned work at your yard is offered at seven Purcell locations, none of them in Montana. Roadside assistance covers units that have stopped, from both stores.
