About the brand
Yokohama Rubber Company is a Japanese manufacturer founded in 1917. It builds across passenger, light truck and commercial ranges, and it is a name that turns up both at a consumer counter and in a fleet specification.
Two ways people arrive at it
Drivers usually get here through the car. A specific size, a specific vehicle, and a question about what the choices are. See passenger tires and light truck tires for how that gets narrowed.
Fleets arrive through the spreadsheet. Miles to removal, casing condition at retread time, and whether the size is gettable everywhere the trucks run. See commercial tires and fleet services.
Neither route is better. They are different questions with different right answers, and the store you call will take whichever one you bring.
What Purcell adds
- Tire and wheel balancing at 51 locations.
- Car and light truck alignment at 40 and heavy-duty truck alignment at 40.
- Retreading at seven plants, which works on the casing rather than the brand.
- 24-hour roadside assistance at 48 locations.
At Purcell, Yokohama is one of the brands carried for OTR tires, trailer tires and UTV and ATV tires.
Availability
Stock varies by location and by size, and a store sets up around its own customers. Call with the size, the vehicle and what it does in a normal week.
The locations directory lists every Purcell location with its phone number, and each page names the tire categories that store carries.
