Michelin is a French tire manufacturer founded in 1889 in Clermont-Ferrand, and one of the largest in the world. It is widely credited with the development and commercialization of the radial tire, which is now the standard construction for almost everything on the road.

The group also owns BFGoodrich and, in North America, Uniroyal, both of which Purcell also works with.

Michelin builds tires across most of the categories Purcell serves, from passenger cars through to commercial trucks and off-highway equipment. Which lines and sizes a given Purcell location holds varies, and the store is the only reliable answer to that question.
