The program can execute on your site
Three Arkansas stores run mining programs. This is the one that also offers mobile service, and on a site program that distinction changes what the word program means.
A managed program is a schedule: specifications, inspections, pressure rounds, removal decisions and reporting. Everything on that list except the removals themselves is work that can happen where the machines are, rather than requiring a machine to be floated to a store.
Which matters because the inspection half is the half that actually saves money, and it is also the half most likely to be skipped when it requires moving something. A program whose scheduled items happen at your site happens. One that requires a transport booking every time tends to become a document.
What the program covers
- Specification by machine and application, because a loader at a face and a haul truck on a road are different problems.
- Scheduled inspection, including pressures, which is where the saving is.
- Removal decisions, so casings come off while still worth retreading, with collection on the same visit.
- Wheel refurbishing, since the wheel is expensive and repairable.
- OTR services for fitting and repair.
- Reporting, which turns the above into a cost you can act on.
What still comes to the store
Fitting and change-outs on larger tires, wheel work, and anything needing shop equipment. Establish which is which for your machines at the start, so the schedule is built around what is actually possible.
The first conversation
The machine list with makes, models, sizes and quantities. Application and surface for each. Hours per shift and shifts per day. What is failing now. Site access and induction requirements, which matter more here than anywhere because the visits depend on them.
About this store
The Springdale store runs eighteen services and is managed by Jackie McAfee. Jonesboro and Mabelvale also run mining programs in Arkansas.
