Drop it at 7:00 AM on the way to work
Scheduled maintenance gets put off for one main reason, and it is not cost. It is time. The vehicle that needs servicing is the vehicle that gets its owner to work, and a weekday appointment looks like a day without it.
This store opens at 7:00 AM, the earliest of the Purcell stores in Kentucky. That changes the arithmetic for a commuter. A vehicle dropped off on the way in can be serviced during the working day and collected before 5:00 PM, which turns a lost day into an arranged lift in each direction.
Make the drop-off quick
A few things make a 7:00 AM drop-off go smoothly when you are trying to get to work.
- Call the day before with the vehicle and its mileage, so the work and parts are ready.
- Leave a number that reaches you during the day, so any extra work found can be approved without delay.
- Say what you have noticed. A noise, a light, a pull. Mentioned at drop-off, it is checked with everything else.
- Agree the pickup time before you leave, and say if you cannot get there by 5:00 PM.
What scheduled maintenance covers
The items the manufacturer lists at your vehicle's mileage: fluids, filters, belts and inspections. Bring the manual or tell the store the mileage, and the work is matched to it. The national scheduled maintenance page explains how the schedule works.
Anything the inspection finds is its own service here, including brake repair and oil changes.
This is the Commercial & Consumer listing. Purcell's other Paducah store on Hinkleville Rd also offers scheduled maintenance and opens at the same hour.
Other stores nearby
Paducah Consumer and Princeton also offer scheduled maintenance.
