One account, two Montana stores
Purcell has two locations in this state and they do different things. Belgrade is the commercial store; Billings runs sixteen services and adds the full car and light truck repair list.
For a fleet working across Montana, the arrangement worth asking for is a single account covering both rather than a separate relationship at each end of the state. The reason is not convenience. It is that specifications and records split by geography stop being useful: two half-histories of the same fleet tell you less than one complete one.
What an account settles
Specifications by position and vehicle type, so a drive tire is the same drive tire on every unit. Scheduled work instead of reactive work. Terms and authorization agreed once. Records that turn tire spend into a figure per unit.
The services it draws on at this store: 24-hour roadside assistance, OTR services, retreading, tire and wheel balancing and wheel refurbishing.
The seasonal shape of the work
Construction and agricultural operations in this part of Montana run hard for part of the year and quietly for the rest, which is an advantage if you use it.
The quiet months are when a casing goes off for retreading without costing a machine a day, when wheels get refurbished, and when the specification conversation happens with nobody standing over it. The same work done in July costs production.
A fleet account that plans around that is doing something a tire supplier cannot do for you.
Every category on one account
Belgrade carries all nine Purcell tire categories: agricultural, commercial, industrial, light truck, OTR, passenger, tracks, trailer, and UTV and ATV.
For a mixed operation, that means the loader, the haul trucks, the trailers, the pickups and the yard equipment sit on one account at one address. General vehicle repair is not offered here; that is the Billings store.
What to bring to the first conversation
The unit list by type with sizes and positions, equipment included. Where the vehicles and machines work. What has been failing. Your busy season and your quiet one. Who authorizes work, and how you want it billed and reported.
