The hardest thing to buy is a straight comparison
Fleets change tire brands looking for better value, and most of them cannot tell afterwards whether it worked.
The reason is that a tire's life in your fleet depends on far more than the tire. Alignment, pressure discipline, the routes, the loads, the drivers and which position it ran in all affect the result, and if any of those changed at the same time the comparison is worthless.
What an account gives you is the ability to answer the question properly, because it fixes everything except the variable you are testing. Same positions, same specification process, same scheduled alignment, same pressure regime, records kept per unit.
Then a change in tire is a change you can actually measure. Without that, a fleet switching brands is running an experiment with no control, and the conclusion it draws will be wrong as often as it is right.
What gets agreed
Specifications by position and vehicle type. Scheduled work rather than reactive work. Terms and authorization settled once, which decides the speed of a roadside call. Records, which is what makes the above possible.
Seventeen services sit behind it: alignment on trucks, trailers and light vehicles, OTR services, mining fleet services, retreading, wheel refurbishing and the full vehicle repair list.
Fix alignment before you judge anything
Worth saying separately, because it is the variable that most often invalidates a comparison.
A fleet with alignment problems cannot evaluate tires at all. Whatever it fits will wear unevenly, and whichever brand happens to be on the vehicles when somebody finally measures the geometry will get the credit for the improvement.
Measure first, then test.
What to bring
The unit list with sizes and positions. Routes and loads. What you have changed recently and what you are trying to find out. What has been failing. Who authorizes work, and how you want it billed.
