Bring the machine, the wheel, or neither
When a loader or another heavy machine needs a tire, the first practical question is not which tire. It is how the work physically gets done, and for an operation some distance from Princeton the answer decides how much time the job costs.
There are broadly three ways it can go, and the store is the right place to ask which suits the job before anything is moved.
Bring the machine. Simple when the machine is roadworthy or easy to load, and when it can be spared for the trip there and back. The fitting is done with the right equipment and the machine leaves ready.
Bring the wheel assembly. Sometimes quicker, since a wheel travels more easily than a whole machine. It also has a real catch: a large OTR assembly is very heavy, it stores a great deal of energy when inflated, and removing it safely takes lifting equipment and the right procedure. Do not pull one off a machine without being sure your people and equipment are set up for it.
Neither, yet. If the tire is worn but not failed, the decision can wait for a planned moment. Measure the tread, read the size and the full sidewall markings, and send them ahead so the replacement is on hand before the machine comes off the job.
Call before you load anything
Tell the store the machine, the exact size and markings from the sidewall, what has happened to the tire, and what you are able to move. That conversation settles whether a repair is possible, whether the replacement is in stock or on order, and which of the three routes makes sense, which is the difference between one trip and two.
Wheels under the tire matter too: wheel refurbishing is here, and sound casings can go into retreading. The national OTR services page covers fitting, repair and supply.
Other stores nearby
Paducah Commercial & Consumer to the west and Henderson to the northeast also offer OTR services.
