Know where the vehicle repair is going to happen
This is a commercial store. Nine services, covering tires, alignment on trucks and trailers, OTR work, retreading, wheel refurbishing, roadside assistance and mobile service.
What it does not cover is brakes, oil changes, air conditioning, cooling system, engine or suspension work. In Nevada those are at Pahrump and Reno, neither of which is a short errand from here.
For a fleet with light vehicles attached to it, that is worth deciding rather than discovering. Either those vehicles go to a local general repairer, which is entirely reasonable, or they travel. What does not work is assuming it will be handled and finding out when a van needs an oil change.
Settle it when the account is set up, write down which supplier does what, and the question stops arising.
What this store does well as a result
Being commercial-only is not a limitation for the trucks. It means the whole list here is aimed at them, and the mobile service is the part worth building the account around.
A distribution operation with units coming back to a yard overnight has a window most fleets do not: vehicles stationary, together, and not needed. Scheduled tire work in that window costs nothing in production, which is the difference between planned work and the alternative.
What gets agreed
Specifications by position and vehicle type. A schedule built around when units are actually in the yard. Terms and authorization settled once. Records, so cost per unit exists as a figure.
What to bring
The unit list by type with sizes and positions. When units are in the yard and for how long. What has been failing. Who handles your light vehicle repair, if anyone. Who authorizes work, and how you want it billed.
