Know which work comes here and which does not
This is a commercial store running six services. Arkansas has three others running seventeen or eighteen, and an account set up without that in mind ends up with somebody driving a pickup across the state for an oil change.
Here: tires in all nine categories, OTR services, retreading, balancing, wheel refurbishing and roadside assistance.
Not here: alignment of any kind, general vehicle repair, and mining fleet services. Mabelvale is the nearest store with all three.
The useful version of an account is one that says which store does what for your fleet, agreed once, rather than a question somebody asks each time. That is worth raising at setup rather than working out by trial.
What gets agreed
Specifications by position, vehicle type and machine application. Scheduled work in place of reactive work. Terms and authorization settled once, which decides the speed of a night call. Records, so cost per unit exists as a figure rather than an impression.
Alignment is the gap worth planning for
A commercial fleet without alignment on its home store has a standing problem, because alignment returns more per dollar than anything else you can do to a tire budget, and it is the one thing this store cannot do.
Build it in rather than leaving it. Decide which store does it, how often, and on what trigger, and put that on the account. A fleet that aligns nothing because the nearest rack is inconvenient will pay for the convenience in steer tires several times over.
What to bring
The unit and machine list with sizes and positions. Where each works. What has been failing. Which other Purcell store your vehicles already use, if any. Who authorizes work, and how you want it billed.
