Work pickups take more than commuters do
A pickup used as a tool is not doing what the manufacturer's service schedule assumes. It carries weight, it tows, and in this part of the state it spends time on gravel, forestry access and construction sites.
All of that shifts alignment faster than commuting does, and none of it feels like a single event. The vehicle just starts pulling slightly, and whoever drives it adapts inside a week without mentioning it.
The cost shows up as tires: a set that came off well short of where the last one did, or a tire worn away on one edge with the rest of the tread intact.
This is a commercial store that aligns light vehicles
Lacey is a commercial location. Car and light truck alignment is on its list because the vehicles that follow a working fleet around are part of that fleet, even when nobody counts them that way.
What the store does not do is general vehicle repair. Brakes, oil changes, air conditioning and engine work are at Monroe, the Washington store for those.
When to put a vehicle on the rack
The national alignment page covers the occasions. For a vehicle working off pavement, the impact that caused it is rarely one anybody noticed, which changes the trigger.
Use the tires instead. A set that lasted noticeably less than the one before it, or one edge going down while the rest looks healthy, is the signal, and on a work pickup it arrives before any complaint about the steering does.
A vibration rather than a pull is usually balance, which is offered here too.
Alignment that will not hold
A vehicle that has been aligned twice and still pulls normally has something worn underneath it letting the geometry move under load. Unsealed roads are hard on exactly those components.
Lacey does not offer suspension repair. That work is at Monroe, and the alignment goes on afterwards rather than before, because an alignment over worn parts does not stay put.
About this store
The Lacey store carries all nine Purcell tire categories, is managed by Darren Soares, and also aligns heavy trucks and trailers.
