Two Purcell stores in one city, one account
Idaho Falls has two Purcell listings and they do different work. This one, on Andco Dr, handles trucks, trailers and fleets. The store at 595 East Anderson handles cars and light trucks.
For a business with both, that split is not a problem to work around. It is worth asking for an account that covers it, so the trucks and the pickups sit on one record even though the work happens at two addresses.
Without that, a business ends up with a commercial relationship at one store and a series of unconnected retail visits at the other, which is how nobody ends up able to say what the vehicles cost.
What gets agreed
Specifications by position and vehicle type, so a drive tire is the same drive tire on every unit. Scheduled work rather than reactive work. Terms and authorization settled once, which decides the speed of a roadside call. Records, so tire spend becomes a figure per unit.
The services it draws on here: heavy-duty truck alignment, trailer alignment, retreading, tire and wheel balancing and wheel refurbishing.
Farm equipment belongs on it too
This store carries all nine Purcell tire categories, including agricultural, OTR and tracks.
A farm account is the same idea as a trucking account with one difference: the schedule is set by the season rather than by mileage. The work worth planning is the work done when machines are idle, which means specifications agreed in the quiet months, casings sent for retreading between seasons, and marginal tires identified before they have to be dealt with in a hurry.
What this store does not do
OTR services. Fitting, change-outs and repairs on off-highway tires are at Boise, the only Idaho location offering them. This store supplies the tires.
General vehicle repair is at the consumer store on East Anderson.
What to bring
The unit and machine list with sizes and positions. Where each works. Your seasonal pattern. What has been failing. Who authorizes work, and how you want it billed and reported.
