OTR Services in Boise, ID

Five Purcell listings serve Idaho and this is the one that works on off-highway tires. Twin Falls and Idaho Falls Commercial both carry OTR tires and can supply them; the fitting, change-out and repair work is here.

For an operation with machines, that is worth planning around rather than discovering. A tire supplied in Twin Falls still has to be fitted, and knowing where that happens before a machine is down is the difference between a scheduled job and a scramble.

Boise is the only Idaho location doing this work, which means a tire condemned in a yard elsewhere in the state was condemned without anybody qualified having looked at it.

An OTR change-out takes a machine out of service, and the date that suits you is rarely the date the tire picks.

The useful habit is to inspect while machines are idle, identify which tires will not last the season, and book those change-outs into a window you choose. Say what date you are working to when you call; work that is expected is easier to place than work that arrives as an emergency.

The Purcell retread plant is at 8670 S. Eisenman Rd, on the same road. On an OTR tire the casing represents most of the cost and can carry several treads over its life, which makes casing condition the number worth tracking on a site.

The Boise store runs sixteen services, carries all nine Purcell tire categories, and is managed by Tyrel Perkins. Mobile service is not offered; seven Purcell locations run it, none in Idaho. Mining fleet programs are run from 13 locations, none of them in this state.
